Where to Stay in Munich, Germany

MIO by Amano Bedroom - Munich, Germany

Each hotel we look at generally has the same basics: luggage storage, similar check-in/check-out times, and a close proximity to the city center. For our trip to Munich, Germany, the biggest considerations for our hotel choice ended up being comfort and convenience. We were staying for three nights, the longest stretch of our visit to Germany. So Buddy Hotel was ultimately eliminated based on the room size – we just didn’t want to feel cramped. Hotel an der Oper on the other hand was cut due to its high price tag, as well as being the furthest from Munich Central Station. That means our winner was Hotel MIO by AMANO in Old Town. Below I’ve put together a pros and cons list for each hotel, in the hopes it may help you as well!
