My Travel Bucket List – USA Edition

Originally published February 2, 2024 | Last updated January 15, 2026

Besides a year-long stint living in Oklahoma City and a long weekend trip to Seattle, I’ve spent the majority of my life on the east coast. Family vacations growing up consisted of places we could get to by car: day trips to Hershey Park, a week at the beach in Ocean City, or the occasional larger excursion to places like Washington DC or Orlando. [Why yes, my family of five did drive 18 hours from Pennsylvania to Disney World in a little sedan when I was 10. No, I would not recommend it.]

My first time on a plane wasn’t until I was freshly out of college and headed to North Carolina for a work trip! Now that we’ve moved around a bit and are feeling somewhat settled, I’m ready to make up for lost time. I’ve still got quite a bit of this massive country of ours to see.

Here’s hoping I’ll be able to start crossing some of these places off my bucket list soon, and then adding even more! Let me know in the comments where else you think I need to go.
